Will Zunie Vintage Native American Zuni Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

This is a magnificent vintage Zuni inlaid sun face squash blossom necklace. This is one of the finest inlaid Zuni necklaces we have collected this year. This museum quality necklace contains 9 beautiful inlaid sun faces, 8 being squashes and 1 being located on the naja pendant. Each squash and naja is inlaid with impeccable mother of pearl shells, coral, Sleeping Beauty turquoise and brown shell. Situated throughout the inlay works are wonderful silver raindrops and ropes. The large naja pendant measures around 3" X 2-1/2". Resting throghout the entire necklace are superior round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+. Signed by Zuni artist, Will Zunie. The length of the necklace measures around 32". Sturdy 193 grams.
