This is a magnificent Navajo Native American jewelry huge silver squash blossom necklace. This piece is extremely intricate and contains 11 fascinating and intricate silver kachina pendants, 10 being amazing squashes. The largest kachina measures around 3" X 1-1/2" and also acts like a naja pendant. Resting on each kachina are fabulous blue turquoise stones that appear to be from the wonderful old Sleeping Beauty turquoise mine. The largest stone measures around 1/2" X 1/2". Also located on each kachina are impeccable silver works that consist of leaves, flowers, ropes and sun patterns. Situated throughout the entire necklace are phenomenal round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo Native American jewelry artist, Franklin Yazzie . The length of the necklace measures around 32". Sturdy 179 grams.
