Very Rare Snakeskin Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is an exceptional vintage Navajo turquoise silver concho belt. This museum quality belt consists of a very rare snake skin leather belt with a mind blowing plethora of silver conchos. The belt contains a total of 23 remarkable silver conchos and a beautiful silver buckle. Each of the larger conchos measure around 1-5/8" X 1-1/4" and consists of amazing diamond patterns that border the conchos. Each of the smaller diamond shaped silver conchos consists of a beautiful petit point turquoise stone and measures around 1" X 5/8". The snake eye turquoise stones situated in each of the diamond pattern conchos is symbolic with the amazing snake leather. The silver buckle contains a combination of both of the conchos including diamond stampings as well as snake eye turquoise stones and measures around 2-1/8" X 1-5/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Parker Hanes . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1960's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 33-1/2" and 40". Sturdy 201 grams.
