Very Rare Colossal Toad Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Bolo Tie

This is a superlative vintage Navajo very thick and heavy horny toad silver bolo tie. This remarkable bolo consists of 4 beautiful Blue Gem turquoise stones running down the toads back with two more beautiful Blue Gem turquoise stones for the eyes. The intricacy and carvings are stunning and very detailed giving this bolo a marvelous real look. The bolo measures around 3-1/2" X 2-1/2" and each turquoise stone measures around 1/8" in diameter. Resting at the bottom of 46" black leather tie are wonderful long silver pins with accenting silver hogan beads. Signed by Navajo artist, RM (possibly Robert Mayes). Sterling silver, marked. Sturdy 154 grams.
