This piece is huge and heavy and very old. The belt is absolutely remarkable as it is set on a very untraditional old belt that has a huge wide belt and a thinner belt. The silver works are just phenomenal including 13 silver conchos with each round silver concho measuring around 2-1\/2\" X 2-1\/4\". Located in the center of each concho is a wonderful turquoise stone consisting of either Blue Gem or Cerrillos turquoise. The surrounding silver works include repoussed shells, sun stampings, and slanted channel patterns. This belt is very old and is in just impeccable shape. The amazing buckle measures around 3-5\/8\" X 2-1\/4\" and consists of superior bordering silver sun and dotted patterns.  Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century .
