Very Important Vintage Native American Navajo Raymond Yazzie Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a striking vintage Navajo turquoise and coral silver necklace handmade by the extremely famous artist, Raymond Yazzie. Raymond is one of the most famous Navajo silversmiths in history. His pieces are highly collectible. This outstanding piece contains a remarkable teardrop shaped silver pendant. Located on the pendant is a wonderful chunky turquoise stone with an accenting chunky coral stone. Surrounding the stones are impeccable silver works that consist of stems, ropes, raindrops, fans, bordering sun stampings and amazing silver bridges. I love how located on the rest of the necklace are smaller and larger round silver beads that go every other bead with an end traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Raymond Yazzie . The length of the necklace measures around 26". Sturdy 40 grams.
