Very Important Vintage Native American Navajo Ramone Platero Turquoise Sterling Silver Bracelet
This is an impressive vintage Navajo three stone silver bracelet handmade by the famous artist, Ramone Platero. Ramone is very famous as he was even mentioned in the 100 collectible Native American Silversmiths book by Bilie Hougart which means he is top 100 famous artists of all time, WOW! This amazing piece contains a large extremely rare Birds Eye Kingman turquoise stone which is remarkable. Look at the depth and intricacy of the matrix. Accenting the turquoise stone is a chunky coral stone and remarkable hand carved mother of pearl shell that is carved into a leaf. Accenting the stones and shells are superior silver works that consist of leaves, raindrops, ropes, and wave works. This bracelet contains a phenomenal and unique shaped five silver shank cuff. The quality and skill of Ramones pieces are just incredible. The center stone measures around 1-3/8" x 1-1/4". The width of the bracelet measures around 5/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Ramone Platero . Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/4" with an additional 1-1/4" gap. Sturdy 70 grams.
