This is a museum quality vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry very important silver necklace. This piece contains 9 fascinating silver tortoises that each contain a fabulous rounded high grade natural Tortoise turquoise. Tortoise turquoise is a Nevada mine. What makes this piece so special is that the artist loved the Tortoise turquoise so much that they symbolically created turtles around the turquoise settings which is just amazing. This necklace is completely hand wrought and consists of fabulous handmade silver link chain. The largest turtle measures around 1-3/4" X 1-3/8" and the largest turquoise stone measures around 7/8" X 3/4".
