Unique!! Native American Navajo Thunderbird Turquoise Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo rare turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This outstanding piece contains 13 incredible hand carved large silver thunderbirds. The larger thunderbirds each measure around 2-1/2" X 1-1/4". Resting on each of the larger thunderbirds and in the center of the large silver naja pendant are large teardrop shaped turquoise stones that appear to be from the wonderful Carico Lake turquoise mine. The impeccable double shank naja pendant is just gigantic and measures an incredible 4-1/8" X 4-1/2". Resting throughout the entire necklace are marvelous round silver beads. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, CRJ. The length of the necklace measures around 40". Sturdy 220 grams.
