Thick Signed Native American Navajo Turquoise Lapis Sterling Silver Buckle

This is an impressive Navajo inlaid kachina space inlay silver buckle. This phenomenal buckle contains a remarkable inlay that consists of onyx, coral, mother of pearl, lapis, purple shell and Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones. Located on the space inlay are two hand inlaid kachinas that are very detailed. Bordering the buckle are wonderful slanted line segments with accenting sun stampings and dotted works. The buckle measures around 2-7/8" X 2-3/8" and can fit a belt width of about 1-3/8" or less. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Clayton Tom. Cir. 1980's+. Sturdy 49 grams.
