Thick Heavy Sturdy Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace
A unique vintage Navajo necklace with pill box pendant. This is quite the fantastic 2-7/8” x 1-5/8” ornately handstamped pill box or trinket box – with thick 25” link chain! It has a beautiful 5/8” x 1/2” Royston turquoise stone on the lid – nestled among silver rope, beads, swirls and starburst. The box is a half-moon shape and is about 3/4” deep and has a bail opening of about 5/16”. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye. Sturdy 111 grams.
