What makes this piece incredibly unique is the huge casted horny toad that rests beautifully at the bottom as a pendant and measures around 2-3/4" X 1-1/2". The horny toad is very important to Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry culture as it symbolizes the grandfathers who protect the wonderful arrowheads. This particular piece contains 10 amazing triangular channels that are wonderfully inlaid with exquisite imperrial lapis which is the finest lapis in the world with outstanding mother of pearl. Notice that one of the mother of pearl triangular segments contain a fabulous turquoise stone. A contemporary sun god hand inlaid rests beautifully in the center of the horny toad. The necklace consists of a huge handmade silver link clasp. What makes this necklace even better is that it contains two horny toad matching earrings, each measuring around 1-1/4" X 3/4".
