This is a magnificent vintage Navajo silver coral necklace. This fascinating necklace contains a mind blowing plethora of hand cut coral stones that rest throughout a stunning plethora of strands. This necklace contains 21 outtanding strands that consist of the amazing hand cut coral stones. Also located throughout the strands are phenomenal silver charm pendants that include hands, ram, fish, bear and deer. Resting at the bottom of the necklace is a remarkable large thick silver turtle pendant. The turtle is impeccably hand carved that consists of stunning stars, corn, pueblos, hands and gold raindrops patterns. Located in the center of the turtle is a stunning blue turquoise stone. The turtle pendant measures around 3-1/2" X 2" including the fascinating large detailed silver bail. I absolutely love how the bail is also intricately hand carved. Resting at the ends of the necklace are pueblo carved silver cones with accenting coiled patterns and raindrops. The double traditional silver clasp is amazing and consists of a center oval shaped turquoise stone. I absolutely love the detailing and beauty of this necklace. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+.
