This is a superlative vintage Navajo large inlaid kachina silver bracelet. This bracelet was handmade by the famous artist, Ben Begaye, Ben is known for his impeccable workmanship. This bracelet contains a large very detailed inlaid kachina that rests on the entire front face of the bracelet. The inlay includes Easter Blue turquoise, red spiny oyster shells, mother of pearl and onyx. Surrounding the inlaid stones and shells are absolutely remarkable silver works that include ropes, graduating raindrops, swirling stems, and leaves. The intricacy and amount of detailed silver works there are surrounding the inlaid kachina as well as running down both ends is just astonishing. This bracelet contains phenomenal sturdy and thick quadruple silver shank cuff that graduates in width towards the center. The height at the center of the bracelet measures around 3-1/2" while the width at the center of the quadruple silver shank measures around 2-3/4". The kachina alone measures a whopping 3-5/8" X 3-3/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1990's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/2" with an additional 1-1/2" gap. Sturdy 132 grams.
