Superior Susan James Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt Old

This is an incredible vintage Navajo turquoise and silver concho belt. This piece is completely hand tooled including 15 outstanding silver conchos. Resting in the center of each of the round conchos are old Crow Springs turquoise stones that each measure around 1/2" X 3/8". The silver works on each concho consist of repoussed sh" X ells, sun stampings, plant works and line segments. The large round conchos measure around 2-3/8" X 2" and each butterfly silver concho measures around 1-7/8" X 1-1/4". Located on the wonderful 3" X 2-1/2" silver buckle are incredible silver repoussed shells, sun sta,pings and two more fabulous Crow Springs turquoise stones. Signed by Navajo artist, Susan James . Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 30-1/2" and 38-1/2". Sturdy 352 grams.
