Here we have an astonishing vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry silver hatband. What a marvelous one this is, too -- with 21 conchos! There are 10 round wagon wheels, each with a 1/8" round turquoise - and 11 of the repousse design scalloped rectangular ones. The black leather hatband is 1/2" wide and all conchos have the copper retainers. The rectangular buckle measures 1" x 7/8" and has two turquoise rounds. Due to the many conchos, the minimum length is about 20", while the maximum is 21-1/2". Cir mid to late 20th. Sterling silver. Sturdy 48 grams.
