Up for sale is this marvelous vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry silver pin/ pendant. So if you've ever been to the southwest, you've probably seen a native toad - strikingly similar to the detail of this pin/pendant - for instance, the extensive handstampings that emulate its scaley dimension! And the convex surface gives the illusion of it's back - and riding atop it is the most dramatic green turquoise stone that's really accented by the surrounding double border of silver rope and silver arches! And you can wear it as a pin - or as a pendant because there's a nice bail set at the tip of the head with a 1/8" bail opening. The center stone measures around 3/4" x 5/8". Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry artist, Lee Charley. The pendant measures around 3" x 1-3/4". Sturdy 32 grams.
