It hosts the nine 1" x 3/8" silver handcarved melon beads that each have an inlay Sleeping Beauty turquoise diamond at the front and back! The incredible melon beads are perfectly spaced to enhance their beauty, as each side of the necklace then ends with silver cones that meet the clasp at the back. Native American handmade silver melon beads are traditional and intricately crafted beads made by Native American artisans. These beads are known for their distinctive melon-like shape. The process of creating silver melon beads involves skilled silversmithing techniques. This is such an incredible piece! Sleeping Beauty turquoise is a unique, beautiful light to medium blue color. It usually has few spider webbing matrix lines. For these reasons it is highly prized and has a special place in the world of turquoise.
