This is an incredible vintage Navajo silver bracelet. The detailed wolf howls at the bright moon at the center of the face of the cuff, as feathers emanate forth at the sides. And a large, bright star uniquely graces each end of the cuff! The designs pop forth from the dark, textured backdrop of the cuff! The wolf is often seen as a spiritual guide and guardian, associated with protection. Wolves are known for their strong sense of family and community. Native American art may depict wolves to symbolize loyalty, cooperation, and the importance of unity within a tribe. The width of the bracelet measures around 1-1/4". Sterling silver, marked. The inside end to end measures around 6-1/4" with an additional 1" gap. Sturdy 36 grams.
