Signed Len Adakai Turquoise Vintage Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is an impressive vintage Navajo large turquoise and silver concho belt. This museum quality belt contains 13 beautiful silver conchos that are both large oval shapes and butterfly conchos. Located in the center of each of the large oval shaped conchos is a beauitful Morenci turquoise stone. The average stone measures around 1/2" X 1/4". Surrounding the conchos are outstanding silver works that consist of repoussed shells, teepee patterns, and sun stampings. Each of the oval shaped conchos measure around 3" X 2-3/8" and each butterfly concho measures around 2" X 1-1/4". The buckle on this belt is amazing as it is rectangular shaped and measures around 3-1/8" X 2-1/2". I just love the old natural patina and beautiful workmanship this belt includes. Signed by Navajo artist, Len Adakai. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 31-1/2" and 36-1/4". Sturdy 353 grams.
