Serious Collector Alert! Vintage Hopi Preston Monongye Turquoise Necklace

This is an impressive vintage Hopi museum quality incredibly important silver necklace handmade by the famous artist Preston Monongye. He is one of the most famous Hopi artists in history, he is in every major book and he is basically tied with Charles Laloma or just under for rarity of his pieces. Located on the necklace are marvelous hand wrought silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Situated on the bottom portion of the necklace are remarkable silver segments with incredible iron wood inlay and spiderweb turquoise nuggets. Look at the phenomenal spiderweb turquoise nugget that is dangling from the bottom which looks to be Lone Mountain turquoise. The dangling turquoise stone measures around 7/8" X 5/8". Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Hopi artist, Preston Monongye. The length of the necklace measures around 20". Sturdy 106 grams.
