Rare Vintage Santo Domingo Orange Shell Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a marvelous vintage Santo Domingo shell and turquoise necklace. This remarkable necklace contains a stunning silver pendant that is carved into a fire flame with a center oval shaped orange spiny oyster shell. The orange spiny oyster shell in the pendant measures around 3/4" X 1/2". Surrounding the stone are stunning sun stampings, dotted works and pueblo works. The necklace contains a phenomenal plethora of hand cut Royston turquoise heishi with hand cut disc shaped orange spiny oyster shells. The bottom pendant measures around 2-3/4" X 1-1/2". Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Santo Domingo artist, C.T. Custer. The length of the necklace measures around 23". Sturdy 54 grams.
