Rare Vintage Native American Navajo Whirling Logs Snake Sterling Silver Bracelet

This is an exquisite vintage Navajo all silver whirling log snake bracelet. This impeccable piece contains an amazing center whirling log which the original meaning of this meant peace. Then in the 40's it was inverted to become a bad symbol. That is not the same symbol. Located at the sides of the bracelet are wonderful thick and amazing 3D hand carved silver snakes that are slithering towards the whirling log. Bordering the thick silver cuff are teepee patterns, sun stampings and line segments. The width of the bracelet measures around 3/4". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 6-1/4" with an additional 1" gap. Sturdy 55 grams.
