Rare Turquoise Vintage Native American Navajo Hand Tooled Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a marvelous vintage Navajo Lone Mountain turquoise and silver concho belt. I absolutely love this belt as it consists of 15 hand carved silver conchos that contain oval shaped conchos as well as butterfly conchos. Each of the butterfly conchos measure around 2" X 7/8" while each of the larger conchos measure around 2-1/4" X 2". Located in the center of the larger conchos are beautiful Persin turquoise stones which is from a very rare turquoise mine in Nevada. The belt consists of 8 remarkable turquoise stones with the largest measuring around 1/2" X 1/4". I absolutely love all of the repoussed shells that are located throughout the entire belt along with stunning sun stampings, channel works and half moon patterns. The phenomenal large buckle measures around 3" X 2-1/2". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . This belt will fit a waist size between 35" and 44-1/4". Sturdy 248 grams.
