Rare Red Mountain Turquoise Vintage Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Necklace
This is an incredible Navajo turquoise and silver naja necklace This absolutely amazing necklace contains two strands of spiderweb turquose stones that appear to be from the wonderful Red Mountain turquoise mine. Resting throughout the stones are marvelous green turquoise heishi with brown shell heishi. Located at the neds of the necklace are sterling silver round beads with curved silver cones and a traditional silver clasp. Situated at the bottom of the necklace is a thick and large silver naja pendant with a blue accenting turquoise stone. The stone measures around 3/8" X 3/8" while the naja pendant measures around 3" X 2-1/4". Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Gary Custer . The length of the necklace measures around 31". Sturdy 153 grams.
