Rare Older Hallmark Zuni Effie Snake Persian Turquoise Buckle

This is a superior vintage Zuni Native American jewelry coral and turquoise silver buckle containing two very large and rare Persian turquoise stones. This is is one of Effie's finer vintage buckles containing rare turquoise and mediterranean coral. Located on this piece is a stunning handmade long silver snake with outstanding inlaid coral eyes. This buckle is very thick and can fit a belt width of about 7/8" or less. The largest stone measures around 7/8" x 1/2". Sterling silver. Signed by Zuni Native American jewelry artist, Effie Calavaza (old rare hallmark) . The buckle measures around 2-1/4" x 1-3/4". Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 50 grams.
