Rare Double Sided Serpentine Native American Kewa Turquoise Shell Heishi Necklace

This is a museum quality Kewa absolutely mind blowing large double sided inlaid necklace. This necklace is impeccable and contains so much detail and intricacy. Located on one side of this gigantic necklace is inlaid with beautiful Royston turquoise, light blue turquoise, yellow shell, mother of pearl and red spiny oyster shells along with accenting jet stones. The amount of inlaid sections on this necklace is just breathtaking and so astonishing, a total of 47 phenomenal inlaid sections, WOW! I absolutely love how the inlaid teardrop sections graduate in size towards the bottom with the largest measuring around 2-1/2" X 1/4" and 3/8" thick. The largest accenting side square inlaid sections each measure around 2-1/4" X 2-1/8" and is about 3/8" thick. The other side of the necklace is beautifully inlaid with impeccable Denim lapis, light blue turquoise, red spiny oyster shells, mother of pearl and jet. Situated throughout the inlaid sections are fabulous hand cut graduating white shell heishi stones with an end adjustable silver link chain. The shortest the necklace measures is around 29" while the longest measures around 33". Not only is this necklace so incredibly unique and detailed on its own but the fact that this necklace comes with not one but TWO matching pair of inlaid earrings is just mind blowing and so very unique. I dont think I have ever come across a piece that comes with two matching pairs of earrings. The earrings are absolutely incredible as one pair matches one side of the necklace and the other pair of earrings match the other side of the necklace, so fascinating, detailing and amazing that the artist would do this. Each beautiful raindrop design pattern earring measures a whopping 2-1/2" X 5/8" not including the hooks. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Handmade by Kewa artist, Torevia Crespin . Sturdy 490 grams.
