This is a museum quality vintage Navajo turquoise nugget necklace. This opulent piece contains phenomenal graduating turquoise nugget stones. The stones appear to be from the incredible Number 8 turquoise mine which is just incredible the workmanship is just top notch. The largest turquoise nugget measures around 1-1/4" X 3/4". Resting throughout the stones are remarkable turquoise heishi. Situated at the ends of the necklace are white to brown shell heishi. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 25". Sturdy 141 grams.
