This is a marvelous Navajo lapis and silver necklace. This remarkable necklace is absolutely stunning as it consists of beautiful hand carved lapis bear fetishes with the largest bear fetish measuring around 1" X 3/4". Resting throughout the entire necklace is a beautiful plethora of handmade round, disc, and square, teardrop, and oval shaped lapis stones that are in multiple sizes. The amount of lapis on this necklace is so wonderful and amazing. Located throughout the double strand necklace are marvelous silver beads that are also intricate and stunning. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. The length of the necklace measures around 19". Sturdy 87 grams.
