This is a breathtaking vintage Zuni very large and chunky stone and shell necklace. This fascinating necklace contains a mind blowing plethora of large chunky stones and shells that consist of turquoise, tigers eye, spiny oyster shells, corals, sugulite, onyx, abalone, amethyst, jade and brown shell heishi. The turquoise stones appear to be from the wonderful Royston, Number 8 and Sleeping Beauty turquoise mines. The necklace is comprised of three fabulous strands that graduate into a bottom 6 strand dangling pendant at the bottom, so amazing. This necklace can be slightly adjusted in length with the shortest measuring around 36" and the longest measuring around 39". Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 249 grams.
