This is an astonishing vintage Navajo impeccable hand carved turquoise inlay bolo tie. This museum quality piece contains a phenomenal large hand carved turquoise Indian head. I absolutely love the detailing and intricacy this bolo Indian head. What is also interesting and makes this bolo more unique is wrapping around the hand carved Indian head is a phenomenal inlaid headband that consists of coral, malachite, yellow shell, mother of pearl, spiny oyste,r and purple stone. The hand carved stone measures around 1-3/4" X 1-3/4". Bordering the amazing turquoise stone around the old natural patina silver bolo are beautiful channel works and a silver rope. The bolo measures around 2-1/2" X 2-1/4". Resting at the bottom of the black leather tie are stunning silver pins with end hogan silver beads. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . Sturdy 103 grams.
