One Of The Longest Vintage Santo Domingo Native American Navajo Turquoise Heishi Necklace

This is a remarkable vintage Santo Domingo/ Navajo turquoise necklace. This heishi necklace is one of the longest heishi necklaces we have collected this year measuring around 42" long. The turquoise beautifully graduates in size with the largest measuring around 1/4" in diameter. Resting throughout the necklace are incredible pink spiny oyster shells with accenting corals. The turquoise appears to be from the fabulous Blue Diamond turquoise mine which is a very rare Nevada turquoise mine. This necklace is solid turquoise heishi, usually these types of pieces consist of white to brown shell heishi that are situated throughout the turquoise heishi, bit not this one, just impeccable. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 42". Sturdy 134 grams.
