This is an impressive Santo Domingo silver and lapis necklace being one of the finest lapis necklaces we have seen by the famous artist Chris Nieto. This necklace contains 9 strands of lapis and turquoise heishi. The strands graduate into one strand of lapis and silver pieces and are seperated by phenomenal and mind blowing, large inlaid lapis tubules. Also located on the large tubules are inlaid Royston turquoise and spiny oyster shell. Resting on the ends of the necklace are phenomenal, long silver fluted cones. Check out that outstanding thick and traditional silver clasp, absolutely amazing. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Santo Domingo artist, Chris Nieto.
