This is a breathtaking vintage Navajo two stone silver cuff bracelet. This incredible bracelet is very thick and sturdy and consists of two large and chunky Morenci turquoise stones. The stones are beautifully placed in a stunning shadowbox setting. Accenting the stones are mirrored wonderful deep stamp works that wave down the both ends of the cuff. Bordering the cuff are striking graduating silver raindrops. Such amazing workmanship and detailing. The Morenci turquoise mine is located in southeastern Arizona, USA. It was first discovered in 1872 by a soldier named King who was stationed at nearby Fort Bowie. The mine produced a large amount of high-quality turquoise in the 20th century, and it is still in operation today. The turquoise from Morenci is known for its distinctive colors and matrix patterns. The colors range from light blue to dark blue with a variety of matrix patterns, including pyrite, quartz, and iron. The mine also produces some green turquoise, which is highly sought after by collectors. Morenci turquoise is often used in Native American jewelry, particularly by the Navajo and Zuni tribes. It is also popular among collectors and jewelry enthusiasts. The stones measure around 1/2" x 3/8". The width of the bracelet measures around 1-3/8". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century .
