This is a tremendous Navajo very large and long turquoise and shell necklace. This incredible necklace contains two remarkable strands that consist of large chunky hand cut teardrop shaped orange spiny oyster shells with accenting hand cut chunky mother of pearl shells. Situated throughout the very large shells are impressive hand cut turquoise heishi stones. Resting at the bottom of the necklace is a phenomenal long double strand jacla pendant that includes large disc shaped turquoise stones with accenting spiny oyster shells and rounded mother of pearl shells. Situated at the ends are stunning hand cut brown heishi. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. The length of the necklace measures around 42". Sturdy 241 grams.
