This is an impressive vintage Navajo beautifully inlaid galluping horse silver necklace. This phenomenal necklace contains 7 outstanding hand inlaid handmade silver galluping horses. The largest horse is situated at the bottom and measures around 2" X 1-1/2". Located on the horses is beautiful channel inlaid stones and shells that consist of purple spiny oyster, Sleeping Beauty turquoise, lapis and abalone. The detailing of each horse is just remarkable. The rest of the necklace is comprised of wonderful handmade silver links. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, I. The length of the necklace measures around 22". Sturdy 61 grams.
