One Of The Best Vintage Native American Navajo Real Gold Sterling Silver Turquoise Necklace Old

This is a magnificent Navajo silver and gold turquoise necklace. This is one of the finest gold, silver and turquoise necklaces we have collected this year. The extremely large and uniquely shaped pendant consists of a rare turquoise stone that appears to be from the wonderful Lander Blue or Lone Mountain turquiose mine. The pendant measures around 2-7/8" X 3" including the bail. The silver and gold works are just phenomenal as they consist of a lightning bolt arrow, zig zag arm and hand, channeld patterns, gold corn cob and a gold hummingbird. Resting throughout the necklace are amazing silver beads with accenting tubule silver beads. Located at the ends of the necklace are remarkable long fluted square shaped silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver and 14k gold, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, James Taylor . The length of the necklace measures around 27". Sturdy 107 grams.
