This is a breathtaking Navajo large single stone silver ring. This outstanding museum quality ring contains a rare dome shaped blue turquoise stone that protrudes 5/8" out from the face of the ring. The turquoise appears to possibly be from the phenomenal Lander Blue turquoise mine. Surrounding the impeccable stone are amazing silver works that consist of a thick rope and marvelous channel patterns for the bezel. The ring is marked 14k because it consists of a wonderful single gold raindrop. Even the beautiful shank consists of stunning stampings that contains ropes and sun patterns. This ring is very heavy and thick. Alot of the times when stones are cut dome shaped such as this they are an important stone. Lander Blue is the most collectible turquoise on earth. You can just tell that this ring is very special. The center stone measures around 1" x 5/8". The ring face measures around 1-1/4" x 1". The ring size is around 9.5. Cir. Mid to late 20th century . Sterling silver and 14k gold, marked . Sturdy 23 grams.
