One Of The Best Vintage Native American Navajo Hand Tooled Sterling Silver Turquoise Concho Belt

This is a museum quality vintage Navajo very large turquoise and silver concho belt. This impeccable belt contains 15 phenomenal large handmade silver conchos being oval shaped and butterfly shaped. The large oval shaped conchos each measure a whopping 3" X 2-1/2" with each consisting of a beautiful center turquoise stone with incredible greenish to blue coloration and wonderful matrix. Surrounding each of the oval shaped conchos are marvelous stampings that include silver cloud works, plant patterns, teepee patterns and sun stampings. Located on each of the 2" X 1-1/2" silver butterfly conchos are wonderful sun stampings, teepee stampings and repoussed shells. I absolutely love the intricacy and largness of this concho belt. The phenomenal large rectangular shaped silver buckle contains two more amazing turquoise stones with stunning accenting silver works. The buckle measures around 3" X 2-3/4". The stones measure around 5/8" x 1/2". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. Mid century. This belt will fit a waist size between 39-3/4" and 47". Sturdy 531 grams.
