One Of The Best Ever Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

This is an astonishing vintage Navajo multiple stone and shell silver necklace. This remarkable necklace contains a beautiful plethora of stones and shells that include Sleeping Beauty, Lone Mountain and Royston turquoise, lapis, red, purple and orange spiny oyster shells, mother of pearl, abalone and onyx. Resting at the bottom of the necklace is a unique shaped inlaid silver pendant that consists of red spiny osyter shells and turquoise stones. The large bottom inlaid silver pendant measures around 1-1/2" X 1-3/8" X 3/8". Resting throughout the multiple stone and shell silver beads are remarkable round silver beads with end silver cones and a traditional silver clasp. Resting near the traditional silver clasp are marvelous stones that include lapis and turquoise. I absolutely love how there are four or shells stones resting on each of the larger silver beads. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, CRA. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 155 grams.
