This is a one of a kind vintage Navajo ring! It features a long Carico Lake turquoise stone with silver borders, and a solid silver band! Completely Unique!
The Carico Lake turquoise mine, located in Lander County, Nevada, is known for producing some of the most striking and unique turquoise in the American Southwest. This mine yields a wide variety of turquoise colors, ranging from bright lime green to deep blue, often with a distinctive yellow or brown matrix. The vivid green stones, colored by the presence of zinc, are especially rare and highly sought after by collectors and jewelry makers. In addition to turquoise, the mine also produces faustite, a rarer zinc-rich mineral that adds to its appeal.
