One Of The Best Detailed Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a tremendous vintage Navajo inlaid silver concho belt being one of the finest concho belts we have collected this entire year. What makes this piece so incredible is first off it is gigantic and each concho tells a different story. The conchos are incredibly intricate with phenomenal inlaid patterns and silver stampings. Each of the 9 large square shaped silver conchos measures around 3" X 2-7/8" as well as the matching buckle. It is absolutely amazing how the artist did night skies as well as day skies and how you can easily tell which is which by how talented this artist truly is. The intricacy is just incredible with the inlay consisting of natural coral, turquiose, mother of pearl shells and brown shells. Each concho consists of a different but unique and intricate design. This belt is incredibly heavy and thick. Signed by Navajo artist, Benny Boyd . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 39-1/2" and 43". Sturdy 653 grams.
