This is a magnificent vintage Navajo all silver huge square shaped concho belt. This is one of the biggest and best square shaped concho belts we have ever collected. Look how intricate this belt truly is as it consists of 8 very large silver conchos that each measure a mind blowing 3" X 3". Located on the conchos are remarkable silver works that consist of repoussed diamond patterns, repoussed sun shells, plant works, teepee patterns, bordering sun stamp works and accenting dotted stampings. The size of this piece is absolutely phenomenal, the buckle measures a gargantuan 4-1/8" X 3-1/2". The conchos are all beautifully hand tooled. The total length of the belt measures around 49-1/2" long. Signed by the famous Navajo artist, Geraldine Yazzie . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 778 grams.
