This is an astonishing vintage Zuni inlaid silver squash blossom necklace being one of the finest squash blossoms we have collected this year. The intricacy of the piece is absolutely phenomenal on another level. This piece is huge and consists of 12 incredibly inlaid silver dancing kachina squashes that each measure around 2-3/8" X 1". Surrounding each squash are wonderful silver works that consist of raindrops and swirling stems. The remarkable large inlaid silver naja pendant measures a whopping 3-1/2" X 3-3/4" and consists of beautiful surrounding silver works that includes raindrops, ropes and swirling stems. The inlay on the necklace consists of outstanding mother of pearl, coral, turquoise and onyx. Resting throughout the necklace are wonderful large round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. The weight of this necklace is absolutely incredible. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Zuni artist, Herb Celiicion. The length of the necklace measures around 36". Sturdy 212 grams.
