Native American Sturdy Hand Carved Turquoise Fetish Sterling Silver Animal Necklace

This is an astonishing vintage Santo Domingo hand carved fetish stone necklace. This phenomenal necklace contains a beautiful plethora of hand carved stones that are carved into fascinating animals. The animals graduate in size with the bottom measuring around 1-5/8" X 1/2". I love how the eyes consist of inlaid onyx or turquoise stones. Such amazing detailing and character to the animals with the intricate carvings. Resting throughout the stones are impressive hand cut brown shell heishi and turquoise heishi. Resting at the ends are silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 56 grams.
