Native American One Of The Most Unique Vintage Santo Domingo Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a remarkable Santo Domingo inlaid silver pendant multiple strand necklace. This phenomenal necklace contains a bottom very large inlaid silver teardrop shaped pendant that measures around 4-1/8" X 1-5/8" including the large silver bail. The inlay on the pendant includes Royston turquoise, Blue Gem turquoise, spiny oyster shells, mother of pearl and pink coral. This necklace contains 8 fascinating strands that include red spiny oyster shells, orange spiny osyter shells, purple spiny oyster shells and Royston turquoise. Situated throughout the stones and shells are amazing hand cut brown shell heishi. Located at the ends are silver cones with a graduating silver link chain. The shortest the necklace measures is around 28" while the longest measures around 30". Sterling silver. Cir. 1980's+. Signed by Santo Domingo artist, Danny Coriz. Sturdy 149 grams.
