This is a tremendous vintage Santo Domingo large inlaid necklace. This piece contains 9 remarkable large inlaid sections with each of the side inlay pieces measuring a whopping 2" X 1-1/2" and the largest bottom gigantic teardrop shaped inlay measuring a mind blowing 3-1/4" X 7/8". The inlay on this necklace consists of phenomenal mother of pearl, coral, spiny oyster, turquoise and jet. Situated throughout the inlaid sections are beautiful graduating hand cut white shell heishi that rests on three impeccable strands. This necklace is absolutely amazing as it is even inlaid on the other side so it can be worn on both sides. Santo Domingo artist, Crespin family . The length of the necklace measures around 38".
