This is an astonishing vintage Santo Domingo necklace. This is one of the biggest and best necklaces we have collected this year as it weighs a whopping 447 grams, WOW! This magnificent necklace contains five strands of remarkable stones and shells. The stones and shells include turquoise, spiny oyster, onyx and white shells. The turquoise appears to be from the wonderful Blue Diamond turquoise mine. Resting throughout the stones are amazing white shell heishi with end silver cones and a traditionals silver clasp. I love the impeccable 4 strand jacla pendant that is resting at the bottom. The jacla pendant consists of beautiful turquoise heishi and spiny oyster shells. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century .
