This is a breathtaking vintage Santo Domingo old turquoise fetish silver necklace. This remarkably old necklace contains a mind blowing plethora of hand carved turquoise bird fetishes that each measure around 1-1/4" X 1/4". Located throughout the fetishes and on both ends are superior turquiose heishi with a single beautiful accenting round coral stone towards one end. The turquoise appears to be from the wonderful Number 8 turquoise mine. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 24 grams.
