Native American One Of Most Beautiful Vintage Navajo Turquoise Shell Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a tremendous vintage Santo Domingo long single strand necklace. This impressive necklace is very long consisting of a mind blowing plethora of hand cut thick disc shaped red spiny oyster shells. Situated throughout the spiny osyter shells are fabulous hand cut chunky Old Kingman turquoise stones. The way the artist beautifully graduated the shells in size is amazing with the smallest measuring around 1/2" in diameter while the largest measures around 3/4" in diameter. Also located throughout the stones and spiny oyster shells are more amazing hand cut tan to brown colored shell heishi. This necklace contains a wonderful traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 30". Sturdy 147 grams.
